A small house making extrait fragrance and hand-finished eastern wear, from Pakistan.

Our story

It started with a complaint

The Collection by T & A began with a complaint. Every scent worth wearing was priced as though it were jewellery, and everything affordable had gone flat by the afternoon. Between the two there was nothing — no house making a serious fragrance for someone who simply wanted to smell like themselves at nine in the evening as much as at nine in the morning.

So we started blending. Not in a factory, but in small batches, with material bought by grade rather than by name: Cambodian oud, Taif rose, real saffron, ambergris accords aged rather than rushed. An extrait sits at a concentration most houses will not commit to, because it costs more per bottle and cannot be hidden behind marketing. It is also the only reason a scent is still there at the end of a long night.

The eastern wear came second, and for the same reason. We sell unstitched suit lengths for men, and good fabric is not a difficult thing to source — which is exactly why so many houses do not bother. We choose ours for how it falls and how it takes colour rather than how it photographs on a hanger, and finish every edge properly before it ever reaches a tailor.

We are a small house, and we intend to stay one. Every order is packed by someone who knows what is in it. Nothing ships that we would not wear ourselves.

A bottle of The Collection by T & A extrait, staged on dark draped fabric

Four things we will not compromise

Extrait, not eau

Higher concentration, longer wear. Blended in small batches and left to age before it is bottled.

Chosen by hand

Fabric picked for drape, oils bought by grade. We would rather make less of something good.

Priced honestly

No inflated list price waiting to be discounted. What it costs is what it is worth.

Packed by us

Every order is checked and boxed by someone who knows what is inside it.

Hamza RaufLahore
“Took the Shadow Black piece straight to my tailor. The fabric had real weight to it, not the thin stuff you get told is premium — and it held its colour after the first wash.”
Bilal AhmedKarachi
“I couldn't decide between three and ended up loving all of them. Scentiment is the one I keep going back to.”
Ayesha SiddiquiIslamabad

Faisal MahmoodRawalpindi
“White Linen is the first thing my wife and I have agreed on wearing. Clean without being boring about it.”

“I asked a question about my order at eleven at night and had a real answer by morning. Small thing. It is why I ordered again.”
Zainab KhanMultan
“The embroidery on the Regal Navy piece is even edge to edge, no loose threads anywhere. You can tell within about ten seconds whether someone has cut corners on unstitched work.”
Saad IqbalPeshawar
“Gave a bottle of Kingsmen to my brother for his nikkah. He has since asked me where it came from twice, having forgotten both times.”

Two ranges, one standard

A scent that is still there at the end of the evening, and a piece that still holds its line after the third wash. Start wherever you like — the care that goes into both is the same.
